About Us

Welcome to Magnolia Grace…

Ashley Williams - Magnolia Grace Farms

where things of old are restored and renewed through a little time and a lot of love. This project started over 120 years ago as the Knox House, named for the original family and was built in 1907.

Generations of families, in addition to neighbors, have shared many memories of the home and the surrounding property. From the long-since removed swing that used to hang in the backyard to the beautiful magnolia tree that still stands today, the Knox House has remained a familiar and permanent fixture in the community.

My family has been connected to this property for many years as well. My great-grandmother grew up in this home, so as a child I would admire its beauty. For 25 years, I drove past it every day, as it sits on the same road as my home and farm. So, when the opportunity came for us to purchase this piece of history, I could not let it pass. I knew that this house deserved to be restored to its original glory days and be a place of joy and peace for all those who visit.

And last but not least, you may ask, why Magnolia Grace? Well, Magnolia is to pay honor to the tree in the backyard that has withstood the test of time. Grace is just that, God’s grace and providence that has allowed us to be able to play some role in restoring this piece of history.
